Second Chance Day

“Celebrate endings—for they precede new beginnings.”

Jonathan Lockwood Huie

Today is a reflection point in our lives. Were unachieved dreams laid to rest or were unexpected opportunities found? I am hopeful that 2022’s opportunities won the day for most, offering encouragement toward a brighter year to come.

I lept towards many goals, but not always did a net appear. That’s life. I am still in one piece and learned much in my few gains and greater losses. I know others who have faired less fortunate. They hold trepidation towards the future.

For those left wanting, have faith. New Year’s Day is to celebrate second chances, do-overs, make-amends, and to reconcile those regrettable woulda-shoulda-couldas. The past never defines you. 2023 can become the rest of your story. Believe in it, and write a good one.

For now, Fall Living Magazine’s story pauses, eager for a return leap. The support towards our efforts has been immeasurable. Many thanks to all.
